yippeee first entry of zine v3!!! i wanted to make a daily gal make tutorial for fun. i think it'll be a good way to see how i improve in the future! that said, concrit is greatly appreciated ^_^

the title says dailyish because i only do my makeup when i go out, which is um... usually once a week or less. today was the exception though! stayed home all day, but i did my make just for this blog. this tutorial mostly goes over the eye make. i don't wear foundation and i just cover my eyebrows. (i want to start experimenting with my brow shape though! maybe i can make another blog on that)

before i start breaking down the steps above, here is a list of the products i used! the only brushes i used were a flat liner and a blending brush because that's all i have lol

• colourpop gone metal eyeshadow palette
• colourpop bambi eyeshadow palette
• ulta hufflepuff eyeshadow palette (this was my mom's, i have a distaste for hp...)
• heroine make smooth liquid eyeliner in brown black (highly recommend!!!)
• la colors neon gel eyeliner in flash white
• la colors holographic lip gloss in diamond lite... i think
• manga? lashes from amazon. they were my sister's, so i don't know the specific brand
• fenty soft matte longwear foundation in Color That's Technically Not My Shade

really, the only colors you need are white and gray + whatever you use for contour :)

1. lighten eyebrows - i use foundation and a spoolie to do this! i put a drop on my hand first and then twirl the spoolie in it. i have pretty dark brows, so doing this takes the attention away from them and accentuates my eyeshadow.

   

2. contour nose - i contour like the picture below. i don't have an actual contouring product so i just mix the grayish brown and warm brown shades of eyeshadow. i use the blending brush to apply the brown and the flat brush to draw my nose stripe. unfortunately i ran out of white eyeliner before i highlighted my nose, so i had to use the glittery white alone -_-;
   

   

   (please ignore how wrecked the gray palette is... it fell and some of the colors popped out </3)

3. lips - usually i put foundation on my lips too, but i forgot to do it before taking pictures ToT ...which may or may not be the reason why half of my face is covered. anyway, foundation + frosty glitter lip gloss is my go-to!

1. use white gel eyeliner to outline the whole eyelid. i like to make it overlap the end of my brow bone. if you don't have white eyeliner, you can also use eyeshadow. before i had eyeliner, i used a nude shadow and highlighted it with a white glitter :)
2. fill in the empty space with a white glitter eyeshadow! i used my finger to apply it.

   

3. add a gray eyeshadow to the lower part of your lid, make the outer corner the darkest, and then blend it out. i used the blending brush for this whole step.

   

4. my favorite part! kinda. i have to smile and step back a little to see my tear bags... i'm pretty sad that i don't have naturally puffy eyes. once my undereyes don't look like an empty pool, i outline my tear bags with the brown liquid eyeliner.
5. fill in the tear bag with white! usually i use the gel liner and top it with white glitter, but by the time i got to this step i ran out of eyeliner :(

1. using the liquid liner, extend the end of your eye. starting from the outer corner, i follow the natural slope until the end aligns with the very bottom of my eye (maybe even a little past it).
2. line the rest of the top lid. use heavier strokes in the middle. i extended the inner corner of my eye at this step too!
3. bottom liner! the fun part. starting from the inner corner, i draw along the natural shape of my eye until i reach my iris.
   from there, i draw my droop. the end of the droop overlaps with the outer half of the line i drew for my namida bukuro. looking at it close up, from now i think i'll start my droop at the middle of my iris instead ^^;
4. fill in the droop with the same liner. i only fill in the bottom half of it.
5. curl lashes, add mascara, then put on false lashes! i bend the inner half up and the outer half down.



6. for the last step, i draw my bottom lashes with eyeliner since i don't have any good lower falsies.
